Life with 5 dogs

My parents left last Sunday to go visit my brother and his family in New Mexico. So we are housesitting for them. Lets just say life has been a little crazy! I have my mom's 3 beagles. Bandit is 13, Billie is 12. Buster is Bellah's brother so he is 4 months old too. Then my teo babies. Bandit will not leave Bellah alone! He hovers over her the whole time, to the point where is stand over here where she cannot walk. Buster and Bellah ruff house all the time and it sounds like they are attacking each other. Brutus is so ready to go home that he actually ran away and we were not able to find him for 15 minutes that was the longest 15 minutes of my life. Billie is just there she just eats sleeps and well you know the other one. Buster has been getting and eating everything in sight. He got into my duffle overnight bag and ate some of my clothes. I was soo frustrated. Poor thing was so constipated the next day that he actually was yelping. I love these dogs so much that all the hard times are worth it because of the love and kisses that you get from them. My parents will be back on the 21st. Then David and I leave for Hawaii on the 24th. So my dogs will be there for almost a whole month.

Cinderella Bellah

I got to meet my new puppy today. I was already going to name her Bellah, but the lady we are getting her from her little girl already named her cinderella. I thought that was so cute. So her nickname will be Cinderella Bellah! My neice was excited about her name too!

Bellah was born on April 22, 2009. I am really excited about her because I never have had a done from the beginning of its life. I think that Brutus will love her here once we are able to bring her home. He will know have a life long friend to play with.
I should be able to bring her home when she is between 6-8 weeks old! I am so happy with our newest little addition.

Sydney

I went to watch my neice sing for her very first time with the Sunshine generation today. She did so well. She looked absolutley beautiful in her little dress.

After a while she noticed she was being video taped. She did not like that so much. She ended up running to Grandma and hiding during her performance. Poor girl had her first experience with stage fright. I think that she will do better next time. If you know Sydney at all you know she is not shy. I love my Baby Girl

Sydney being the big girl she is did not give up. She went up there again and concquered her fear and tried it again!! Good Job Syd Aunt Bekah is so Proud of you!

Brutus

I took my dog to the vet today to get his teeth cleaned tpday. He was a great sport about it. Although he did not quite understand why he could not eat this morning. Our mornings always start with me letting him out to go to the bathroom and while he is out I put food in his bowl. Well this morning he didn't get fed because he had to fast because he was going to be under anesthia today. When he came in he look at me then his bowl several times before he realized I was not going to feed him. Poor guy he did not understand. Around 7:15 I took him to the vet he did really great until we pulled in the parking lot of the vet hospital and he started to whine. He was soon ok, because there was a pen full of 8 week old Brindle puppies. The receptionist got one out for Brutus to play with while I filled out the paperwork for him. Then I had to say goodbye to my puppy. Around 2:3o I had my dad pick Brutus from the Vet. I did not realize how much this takes out of a dog. He has been sleeping all day long. He just wants to snuggle. He is not his usual hyper self. But he is now eating and drinking. OK I am so thankful we do not have to have anesthisa when we go for a routine dental cleaning.

Life the way you don't expect it to happen

For most of you know my wonderful husband and I have been trying to expand our family. It hasn't quite worked like we thought it would. We went a year and half with ou conceiving at all, then on my 23rd birthday we found out we were expecting our first child. We both were extremely happy. But that was very short lived when we lost the baby on November 21, 2007. Then we have yet to conceive again since then.

On February 4 of this year we decided that we would go talk to the doctor to see what was going on. He did a consultation with us and told me that he thought I may have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). He took some labs to verify this.

Well, I just got the results in from my doctor and he confirmed that I indeed to have PCOS. He then gave the words no one ever wants to hear. "you have little to know chance of ever conceiving on your own." My heart was broken for a brief time. But then he explained to me that not all was lost. He wants me on birth control for a month to regulate my cycles and then he wants me to talk to him after that about getting started on some things to help us to get Pregnant. So who knows in the next year or so my dream of becoming a mother might actually happen. God knows everything and all I have to do is keep my eyes on Him and everything will be OK.
